Grows in the Summer months.
It is best to position the top of the lotus pot just under the water level of your pond
Prefers protection from strong winds.
Prefers regular fertilising (Slow release aquatic pellets)
Afternoon shade is good
Full morning sun is good
Edible

They can be a challenging plant to grow in Perth, mainly because of the dry easterly, but if success is yours, then well done to you as they are a really truly spectacular water plant.
