Prefers protection from strong winds.
Prefers regular fertilising (Slow release aquatic pellets)
Afternoon shade is good
Full morning sun is good

Please note – Lotus can be a challenging plant to grow in Perth, mainly because of the dry easterly winds. But if success is yours, then well done to you as they are a really truly spectacular water plant.
